Schwartz says the kid never misses a meeting including game day and asks all kinds of questions. I'd say that he's up to speed the best that he can be. Learning the NFL skills and reads on the field is a whole different ballgame though.
    "Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

I like hearing (reading) that. There is the real possibility that we will again actually have a top flight secondary. What would it be like to have a secondary where we would really look forward to the opposition throwing against it...rather than mostly dreading it.

Prior to the Philadelphia Eagles game Sunday, Sidney Jones was seen jogging on the far side of the field.
That's an encouraging sign for Jones and his return to the Eagles this season. Jones is eligible to come off the Physically Unable to Perform list and begin practicing for the Eagles after Thursday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
"He's right on track, physically," said Eagles head coach Doug Pederson. "But mainly continue his rehab with our training staff and our strength staff."

The Eagles will have off after Thursday's game for the entire weekend and the following Monday. If Jones does practice, he won't be seen on the field until the next Wednesday.
Then the 21-day countdown clock will be on.
If Jones does practice in Week 7, the Eagles have 21 days to activate him, release him, or keep him on the PUP list for the rest of the season. With that 21-day timetable, the latest Jones could play would be Week 10 (the Eagles bye week). His return would then be Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, November 19.
If the Eagles deem Jones not ready to practice by Week 7, the Eagles have another six-week window for him to begin practicing. If Jones isn't ready to practice by Week 12, he remains on the PUP list for the rest of the season.

Jones is getting himself back into physical shape, an encouraging sign for the Eagles.
"He's been doing that as part of his rehab, a little bit, so he's slowly working himself back into that part of it," Pederson said. "Everything is staged out and that's where he's at right now."
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.
