The perennial SB favorites, Carolina Panthers, didn't score a TD against the Falcons, and gave up 20 pts to Vick's squad. Nice way to start the season.

The Pats managed to escape a Buffalo closeup, but won by two.

The Saints went in Cleveland and reminded them that they are cursed. Too bad they had to snatch Bentley off our hands. Fat Hollis went against Hank Fraley, and had one tackle. Simoneay had 2 tackles and 3 assisted tackles. Not bad eh?

The Seahawks found out how nice it is to be on the losing side of the SB and the Madden cover. Walter Jones got injured, and even though the pulled out of Detroit with the win, they didn't score a touchdown. Alexander rushed for only 51 yards without Hutchinson in front of him.

The Chiefs are still not playing defense, but this time, they couldn't score either. Larry Johnson run for 68 yards only.

Denver lost another opener, this time to the St. Louis Rams and maybe Jay Cutler will get the public's attention soon...

Tampa got shutout in their own building...

    Baltimore looked solid with McNair!

Seattle looked awful in Detroit. Maybe they were looking around for Bill Leavy.

Oh and JP Losman proves again that he sucks.

Bills passed on Cutler and Leinart, Texans passed on Bush (who had a big game today).

          Makes you wonder...

There was no way the Bills could give up on Losman so fast... people don't like to admit their mistakes.

As for the Texans... what a bunch of morons.

Hard to judge from just one week but how easy does our 1st half schedule look at this point?

and GB is just awful. awful.

Still think the Texans made the right call. An all-pro DE is a lot harder to find than an all-pro RB. Wali Lundy a 6th round pick is going to be a good back in this league.

NO! NO! NO! You gotta be wrong there SF. None other than HIMSELF has told us this is the most talentd team he's ever played with.

I was so glad to hear Bradshaw unload on Farve and say, in essence, his self-absorbed act is getting really old.

Well he did get it half right. He said it was the most talent team he's played on, but he later added that despite their talent, they might not win many games because of their inexperience.

I don't know why Favre said that. Now the national media can't make excuses for him.... well, i'm sure they'll find a way.

                        everybody sucks but us.

                          So...in retrospect:

                          Tampa gets shutout at home.
Baltimore went in there and dominated them.

Atlanta beats Carolina handily in their house. Morgan as usual gets injured, Steve Smith's hammy seems to be a problem.

                          Cowboys still cannot protect Bledsoe.
Bledsoe still cannot move and makes the stupidest plays.

                          Denver loses to St. Louis.

New Orleans manages to get a game from the Browns who are cursed anyway. THAT's for taking Bentley from us

Arizona and SF put out a shootout, SF just recovered an onside kick!

Tennesee and NYJ gave us a dramatic game.

Cincinati is still a good team (or Kansas needs a lot of work).

                          Game over in SF btw.

I have to agree. I think Williams will be a very good DE. I also agree about Lundy.

I hate everything the Cowboys stand for. If you think they are America's team, then you support everything that is wrong with America. The excess, the greed, the lack of maturity, the lack of responsibility, the lack of control. - Luzinski's Gut
