True. If there were no comparable offers out there for McNabb, then it was a reasonable risk.

Vin I still don't see how you can say the Redskins aren't a better team with McNabb than they were with Campbell (or any other QB they would have had this year). McNabb is a quality QB with a lot of experience and a strong arm. His accuracy sucks and he chokes in big games like an actress in her first porno, but at the end of the day he makes them a better team. Will they win the division? Doubtful because of the other holes they need to fill, but he takes the need for a starting QB off of that list and that's not something I wanted the Eagles to help them do. Second round pick or not I still wish they hadn't traded him to a divisional rival.

They are a better team Juk. But everyone is worried that McNabb is gonna lead them to elite status or something. They won't even win the division!

What difference does it make? People are worried about nothing. Who cares about 9-7?

People are so focused on the Redskins getting better -- SO WHAT. The Eagles got better with another pick. Concentrate on that.

Only if that 37th pick is better than an all pro QB.

The Redskins did get better, and it matters cause you never ever help your division rivals get better, it just makes it harder for you.

          IMO!

The 37th pick is all plus, it comes down to whether Kolb can perform at a similar or better level than McNabb. I am optomistic.

I couldn't agree more. This trade was made because it was time for Kolb to start plus I think the light went on for someone in the FO.

As far as Kolb goes, that could take a couple of years but as long as he shows something things will be fine.

Are the Skins a better team with McNabb? Yes but not by that much. Their biggest hole is what will get McNabb killed. I don't believe that they will be able to fix it quickly.

People talked about how the Skins changed but they haven't. They are still in a win now at all cost mode as shown by the McNabb trade. Once McNabb starts to break down a couple of years down the road the Skins will be back to square one again.
