I didn't think so. Tampa Bay is inferior, but I still thought it would be a tough game, and it was. Still, if the Eagles play them 10 times, the probably win 9 of them. Dumb luck is all it was.

The Jaguars certainly COULD win...any team COULD win against any other team in the NFL, but this week it seems unlikely to me.

I think they are just as desperate for a win as we are, and this change at QB could give them a spark. I expect a tough game tomorrow.

        Gimme? No.

        Must win? Hell yes!

Five straight losses, including a crucial one at Dallas on Christmas Day, send them out against Atlanta, needing the win, plus help. -Dr. Z, 8/31/06

Garrard did not beat the Eagles today. Their defense did. Gave the ECU'er great field position all day. The important thing for them is that he didn't lose it. And made some big plays along the way. A big third down run on their first drive and another on a late drive. They kept it simple. And in an East Coast skirmish, they're running the ball took the starch out of the West Coast game plan. Sometimes I think the Eagles should simplify as well. Especially on third and short. Some of their third and shorts take too long to develop and McNabb ends up as a standing target.

I don't get angry after games anymore. Not at age 60. During games there are moments of angst, but only at what I think are bad offensive calls. I banged the couch about 5 times in the first half.
