Also, I agree about Barner. I am real good with him as either primary or secondary back. Much better in the backfield than Sproles. Sproles still has a role and he needs to get some RB time but I envision him more as a receiver.
On at least one of the Sproles drops it was just a HOT pass by Wentz when he was too close to Sproles. Nothing that doesn't happen to everyone but sometimes the receiver is just close and the QB let's it go a little too hard. The others I thought were on Sproles.
Finally--Yay Wentz.

I hope we get DGB involved more, If Matthews keeps getting 9-10 looks a game, one of the others will need to make some plays when teams try to stop him. Wentz was reason to look forward to the season. He made good decisions for the most part, one concern was a few batted balls up front.

By my count we had 6 different receivers catch passes. That's pretty good for a rookie.

Speaking of observations, did anyone notice that the Eagles brouht ib Beau Allen on the goal line situation where Ryan Mathews scored? Reminds me of the Fridge. Nice job Dougie!

He's no more than a shell of what he could have been. Normally I would have sympathy for someone whose career was so callously damaged by Rat Face and his genetically impaired idiot son.

But not in Griffin's case. It wasn't his fault Snyder chose to treat him as though he were the Second Coming but it is entirely on Griffin for wallowing shamelessly in Snyder's favoritism and for playing the 'entitlement' hand dealt him by Snyder so brazenly. Fuck the whiny little bitch.

All in all, I was pleased and surprised at how well the Birds played. Wentz did not play like the raw rookie he actually is. Off what we saw today, Bradford's departure won't significantly negative impact the Bird's record this year. And he'll only get better. So we got that goin' for us...which is nice.

Still too many drops all around, but Agholor showed signs of no longer requiring life support to remain on the roster.

Finally, did Huff actually dress today? Oh that's right...he was thrown to 3 times but failed to make even one catch. But he is soooo fast!

Always nice to win the opener & Wentz played great. No doubt, Wentz is the Real Deal!

Burton supposedly was a bit banged up.

Burton was out injured. Major loss, IMO. Hopefully he gets back quickly.
