  • Anyone in NJ?

    Are the sportsbooks online yet?

Friend of mine is in Vegas. Birds 12/1. Should I ask him to do it or just wait till I’m in NJ next?

NJ sports books are open and on-line betting via various casino apps has been up and running since last fall. Philly is gearing up as well and plans to offer on-line betting before the NFL opens to go along with new sports books. I’m not a gambler so I can’t say if the Vegas line is good or not, but you can bet in NJ next time you’re here either by physically visiting a casino or using their app. If things go as planned you may be able to bet in Philly sports books soon too.

A friend just got me the Eagles at 18-1. At a casino in Wendover NV
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
      Hope is not a strategy

Each casino in Vegas has their own odds. If your buddy is going to more than one ask him to shop around. The Eagles were over under 9 one year and I told my buddy don't do it until you find 8 1/2 which he did and they won 9 on the nose for me. SB odds fluctuate all over the place.

12-1 seems reasonable. But 15-1 would be great. Reason I want to do online when I’m in NJ is that I don’t want to have to send my ticket in when the eagles win the SB.

I'm pretty sure that you have to live in the state to collect. Don't worry about mailing a winning ticket in. The turn around time was pretty quick the year that I sent my ticket in.
