That's IMO a pretty sweet future and the Phils managed it in a rather short time. Hats off, let's get this turnaround moving. The growth should be fun to watch

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I dunno--- I admit that I know none of these guys..... but I still have a mistrust of the Phillies ability to "KNOW" talent.

The Phillies continued to add pitching depth this offseason on Thursday, signing pitchers Andrew Bailey and Edward Mujica to minor-league deals.
The contracts come with invitations to the club's major league spring training.
Bailey, a 31-year-old right-hander from Voorhees, New Jersey, has a career ERA of 2.74 in six big-league seasons spent between the Athletics, Red Sox and Yankees. The 2009 Rookie of the Year and two-time All-Star began his career as a closer in Oakland, but suffered a shoulder injury in 2013.
Multiple tears in his shoulder labrum forced him to spend the entire 2014 season in the Yankees' minor-league system, where he suffered multiple setbacks. Bailey pitched in 10 games for the Yankees in 2015, but wasn't able to return to form, posting a 5.19 ERA with nine hits and five walks in just 8.2 innings.
Mujica, also a 31-year-old right-handed pitcher, is another bounce-back candidate for the Phillies' bullpen. During his 10-year career, Mujica has a 3.85 ERA with 423 strikeouts in 494 games spent between the Indians, Padres, Marlins, Cardinals, Red Sox and Athletics.
His best year came in 2013, when he went to his lone All-Star game with the Cardinals and finished the season with a 2.78 ERA and 37 saves. Mujica posted a 4.71 ERA in 49 appearances in 2015 with the Red Sox and Athletics.
The signings continue general manager Matt Klentak's crusade to add pitching depth, particularly players looking to have bounce-back years. During the offseason, the Phillies have claimed pitchers A.J. Achter and Michael Mariot off of waivers, signed pitchers David Hernandez, Greg Burke, Ernesto Frieri, Gregory Infante and James Russell and traded for veteran pitcher Charlie Morton from the Pirates. They also acquired a plethora of young arms from the Astros in the Ken Giles trade.
