does 'gunner' have any insider information access or has anyone heard from elsewhere which would suggest ligaments are torn?
Five straight losses, including a crucial one at Dallas on Christmas Day, send them out against Atlanta, needing the win, plus help. -Dr. Z, 8/31/06

When they were taking Kearse off the field the trainer who was helping him (under Kearse's left arm) said "ACL" as they got to the sideline.

Yeah, but they do tests on the field to check the ligaments. When you see 'em moving the knee (or whatever joint it may be) they're checking for structural damage. They couldn't tell if t was sprained by pulling or moving his knee.

I hope I'm wrong and that DGunn is wrong too because Freak was poised for a great season. But I think he's done.
