looking back at that perfect game, playoff no hitter and other steps that took him to the HOF

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I liked him as a Blue Jay and loved him as a Philly

Watching him throw was pure gold, especially the no hitter.
Have some great memories of Phils pitchers like watching Bunning's Father's Day perfect game or watching Carlton win half the Phils games in the early 70s (maybe 72) but Roy Halladay is right there among them.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
            Hope is not a strategy
            RIP

Had season tickets for that era--- we had some good pitchers but he was the best of that era-- it was an honor watching him throw!
