  • Can the Phillies finish with a respectable record?

Despite the injuries, and Ed Wade not making a move at the trade deadline the Phillies only moment of clarity will to finish out the season out as a .500 ballclub. However, things were all so bad the " new ballpark," Thome's 400th career homer, Eric Milton, J-Roll, and the many other. So, in other words it could have been worse. But, Larry Bowa should not be to blame, their bullpen never looked so good and well maybe if Mike Leibertha would realize that, they had a chance with Bowa well then m-b he would stepped it up a notch. I said this once before that Libe was under-rated, but now I question if he is another Darren Daulton . The only man who tried to lead this team was Jimmy Rollins. He gave it his all and you could tell watching him "night after night....." But, how about Kevin Milwood, in the words of Terrel Owens,"By Golly," after struggling to get back to that once ace status, Milwood could not it seemed like a windmill blew him away. August 2004, MILLWOOD INJURED!! Well, just at the wrong time he gets injured and at the wrong time he comes back. That's all in year wrapped into a "Philly Cheesesteak" complimented by a nice cold PEPSI, enough to give heartburn.[/b][/quote]
