  • Mandatory Return for AI

    Boston: Al Jefferson
    Golden State: Monta Ellis
    Denver: 2 First Rounders
Minnesota: Randy Foye & Future 1st
    Indiana: 2 First Rounders
    Charlotte: Raymond Felton

    * Any others? I don't take any of Denver or Indiana's crap w/o multiple first rounders. If I'm King I stand firm and don't deal unless I get a base package of the above.

    Thoughts?

Ok but Felton is a perfect PG for this youth movement. No?

Absolutely but we need two #1 picks next year. If you can get two lottery picks - then they should be able to package a deal to move up to #1 for Oden.

Not sure if it's implied but... at least 1 expiring contract.

            Implied.

StevieMac - No one is dealing you the #1 pick after the lottery is decided. Oden is considered Patrick Ewing Jr.

The gameplan would be get two lottery picks to increase you chances at landing ODEN.

Expiring contracts - 1st rounder - young stud. All necessities.

            In order of importance
            1 - Young stud Player
            2 - First rounder
3 - Expiring Contract (We can live w/ a bad contract or two coming back if we get #1 and #2)

I understand no one is going to deal you a lottery pick after the fact. I'd roll the dice and do a deal with a team most likely to be in the lottery (i.e. Charlotte). You and I are on the same page.
