Default Barnett had damned well better be healthy!

Seriously, the cupboard is bare after Daeshon Hall. There is absolutely nothing there. What a great pick up late last season by Howie! Sweat is such a good athlete that you would think that he would excel but he just looks lazy most of the time and gets stonewalled. Very disappointed with him. Miller just isn't ready. I really don't know what we could do for a rotation there for the forth DE but I hope the hell that Benett can play! I really think that Howie has to try to come up with somebody or beg Long to come back!

I agree on Sweat I have seen nothing from him. Miller has looked pretty good, he does need to bulk up some but they could spot him as the 5th defensive end.

Honestly How many teams can go as deep as we are at DE, not many.

Yes if Barnet is ready we are fine but he hasn't practiced yet. Neither has Cox or Bradham. We're starting the season with backups at LB and other places too. I'm not feeling great about things right now.

Sweat will be fine when it comes to giving the other guys a breather. No team has five DEs to throw at you and my guess is Sweat is better than any other team's #5 DE. He isn't looking at 30-40 plays a game. More like a dozen.
