  • Jevon Kearse Listed at 245 lbs right now?!

I'm concerned that he won't be able to hold up at that weight. He was notorious for injuries earlier in his career and while he'll be super freak fast this could be a major issue.

    Thoughts?

    Where did you read this?

I tend to give athletes the benefit of a doubt about their weight until they get to playing time. They know their bodies much more than we do. Of course, if you haven't proven yourself yet and you show up to combines as a fat slob (Slo Mo Clarett), then you're a dumbass.

"Kearse was surprised to find he was five pounds lighter - down to 245 - than he anticipated, and 15 pounds off his normal playing weight."

He's not known as the freak for nothing. I think putting on the weight shouldn't be too hard for him. 15 lbs of muscle is a lot though, if it's all muscle. DMac looks 15 lbs lighter and he looks good.

By the way, BP, you can post in the Eagles Fans only forum now...

Maybe at that weight its time to conver Jevon to LB?

I read that the other day-- just seems to me that 245 is just too light. I think 252 and getting real quick again would be perfect!

If he really is 245 he will be getting pushed around.

I think FRESH may be on to something with the LB comment.

I'm not so sure that's a good idea but the Phreak's wingspan would cause so much havoc in coverage as an LB. Not to mention his speed.

Hes going to play that Joker position a lot more this year, probably even more thatn he did two years ago. Last year JJ was limited in what he could do with Jevon due to all of the injuries. I think we'll see Jevon playing some LB and general, roaving maniac. Bring it!!!!!

Man we were banged up last year. We were down to starting a 5th round pick opposite Kearse.
