"Ed Thompson of Scout.com typed up a column highlighting seven different nuggets from the world of the NFL and two of them involved the Eagles.
The first involved quarterback Kevin Kolb. Thompson noted that of the 11 total quarterbacks selected in that year's draft, Kolb – the third quarterback taken in that draft - is the only one who is a lock to start for his team in 2010. The first quarterback taken, JaMarcus Russell, was released by Oakland last week. The second quarterback, Brady Quinn, was traded earlier this off-season from Cleveland to Denver, who then used a first-round draft pick on Tim Tebow.
The only other quarterback with a chance to start is Buffalo's Trent Edwards, who had previously been the starter after being selected in the third round of that year's draft. Remember that Buffalo has a new head coach in Chan Gailey...."
