Texans' Bednarick McKinney undergoes ankle surgery
Texans middle linebacker Bednerek McKinney underwent ankle surgery, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. This according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
It was an arthroscopic procedure, per sources. McKinney is expected to make a full recovery in advance of next season.
A Pro Bowl selection two seasons ago, McKinney finished second on the defense in tackles behind Zach Cunningham.
In 14 games, McKinney recorded 101 tackles, one sack, 5 1/2 tackles for losses, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
