  • Does Suspended Money Get Charged to Cap ?

you don't pay suspended players, but does their money count towards the cap ?
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Hmmmm, that didn't really clear anything up. Best way is to not have your players suspended
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
      Hope is not a strategy
      RIP

Reading it, suspended players do not count against the cap. Also if suspended where they don’t play 6 or more games, they don’t get credit for the season. If they had 3 years on contract the start of the season, they still have 3 years.
