  • Tomorrow needs to be a lot better than today

first the idiot Shotenheimer refuses to beat the damn Ravens and now the skins are handling the jaqs pretty well. Ohhhhhh the pain..

I'm still foaming at the mouth over Martyball more than the skins. That just really burns me up. I thought I was watching Reid a few times but even Andy would have put a tad more distance between them before deciding 3 and out is a good way to play football. What a total idiot!!!

End of rant. Have a nice day!

    Speaking of the Skins.....

They don't look too bad. Jax is a quality team, and Wash is handling them, physically. Couple of reasons wy Skins fans should be optimistic.

LB crew looks good. Especailly Washington.
S Taylor is probably as big of an intimidator as there is in the league.
Brunell seems to have re-energized himself and found a touch of youth.. Arm strength is still there.
Moss is an incredibly talented and dangerous receiver, second only to TO inour division.
Cooley and Portis round out a pretty good offensive group of weapons.
Their Oline AND Dline are performing better than I expected.

Honestly, It's hard for me to understand how they have looked so BAD at times (tho I could say the same about our Eagles) . They've got some nice pieces. Somebody just needs to take out Brunell.

    "Sweep the leg, Johnny".

Damn. Look at the way the Skins are able to grind it out on the ground here in crunch time. That's impressive. Old-School Gibbs stuff here.

        Come on, fumble again!!

fresh, the good news is, after watching the Saints and the Panthers, both teams look very beatable. I don't fear either of them.

They might, but Dallas looked dangerous. Glenn might be a bigger threat for us than TO.
The Skins are not going to be a cakewalk if they keep playing that way. Gibbs has them pretty focused and molded into they type of team he used to win championships with. Seriously, I was having flashbacks. Swap Theisman/Rypien for Brunell, and take a look at their system: Smash it on the ground (and they have two pretty decent RBs to do it, and then hit you for a big pass play why you are stepping up to snuff the run (sub Clark for Moss_). Clint Didier? no. But this kid Cooley is a stud.

Ahhh, the good ol Days! The NFC East is a dogfight once again. Every division game is really gonna mean something. ( Makes the loss to the Gints smart even more)
