  • Cheapness will Cost the Phillies this Year

Due to the money commited to Adam Eaton they allow this crap to go on:

    http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/gamecente ... 27_PHI@DET

    * I mean every 5th day we're going to put a pile of pitching feces on the mound to lose? We could have signed Kyle Loshe for 1 year and put him as our #5 and we'd be in much better shape.

Ugh. Nothing like trying to win a title by sticking with losers because they are overpaid.

And Adam has the audacity to say that he made some good pitches.

Dude, your paid to make ALOT of good pitches.

I think that he'll blow about 4 games before they bench him and call up Benson or Carpenter or some one else. They'll let Eaton suffer through the cold weather.

Well supposedly the way the schedule is setup they wont have to pitch a 5th starter until Benson will be close to ready to come back.

This will be interesting experiment. With a few dollars here or there they Phils could have picked up these guys easily. Let's see what happens throughout the year in comparing them to our #4 and #5 guys to start the year.

They were already over their budget.

Hernadez is 3-0 and Loshe has a 1.06 ERA in three starts.

            Sweetness.

Lohse's line today vs. the Brewers:

                4 IP; 8 H; 4 R; 4 ER; 2 BB; 1K
Don't kid yourself Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd kill you and everyone you cared about!

I hope that Benson is ready soon and they give him a try and release Eaton. It would be difficult for Benson to do any worse.
