said he didn't feel "right" so they sat him
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Seriously, why didn't they wait until after the bye with him?

It’s the genius of our medical staff. I thought the same as you 60. 2 more weeks to heal and strengthen might have made all the difference. We will never know.

              Here you go MD.....

Head coach Doug Pederson met with the media Monday afternoon to discuss the major injury updates from the Eagles' 22-14 victory over the Bears. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson made his return to the field on Sunday for the first time since Week 2, when he sustained an abdomen injury. After only seeing four snaps against the Bears, Jackson exited the game with "discomfort" and did not return.

"As I said after the game, he did feel some discomfort in there," Pederson said. "For really precautionary measures, we kept him out. We are gathering some more information on him. Obviously, this is our bye week, so we're going to get all the information and see where we're at with him."

The Eagles will get a second and third opinion on Jackson's injury during the bye week. Even though he only had one reception for 5 yards, Pederson does not regret putting him in the game at all.

"Going into the game, his rehab, what he had been doing, he had been busting his tail to get back out on the field," Pederson said. "He had a really good week of practice. We limited him even in practice, but what he could do, he was feeling good. I have no regrets putting him out there."

Well then Doug you are a moron! It was the bears and you should have won that game easy. You could have always put him in if you were losing and really needed his presence..... otherwise, you leave him on the bench to heal properly through the bye.
