  • Once again... Vick is not the reason we fell short. Vic is the reason - with Andy's rediculous offense - that we were even in the hunt to begin with.

Brees is no taller than Vick, and he won a SB last year.

What do they all have in common besides they are white so please no one play the race card on me. They are all bigger guys that can see down the field. None are great athletes, but they are all for the most part speedy enough to create a little bit of space. They can throw on the run with accuracy and they can see.

That is the biggest thing with Vick... I don't think he can see.
they also have pocket presence, without taking their eyes from their receivers, they can move around just by feeling the pressure. Also they can read checkdowns and don't take off at the first hint of a pass rush. There is a 10-20 yard area of the field that Vick uses only to benefit his scrambling,I guarantee if a pocket QB had Maclin and DJ to stretch the field,Celek,Avant, McCoy and Schmidt would be fed the ball all day until the DBs started to sneak up to the LOS,then hit the deep pass.Vick did a lot of this early on,but seemed to try too hard to hit it big towards the end .Maybe MM and AR didn't put him in the right position to use the entire field and all his options. Whatever, the offense was pretty damn inconsistent the past 4 weeks.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

No matter how many times you tell yourself that It's not true. Vick is part of the reason we fell short. The same game plan you used to beat him in Atlanta still stands today. Hit him and hit him hard. The Giants started the snowball. Just like some of us have said since the beginning of the season that once teams caught on to Vick he would have problems and he has.

Vick will have no problems beating the weaker teams but the way he plays will not stand up in the PO's.

I hate everything the Cowboys stand for. If you think they are America's team, then you support everything that is wrong with America. The excess, the greed, the lack of maturity, the lack of responsibility, the lack of control. - Luzinski's Gut

Vick looked very good whenever he had a chance to set in the pocket.

You talk like Vick had a horrid game yesterday....he didn't. He missed a few opportunities, and we had some awful drops as well. Still he put up almost 300 yards passing without his most dangerous weapon for a chunk of the game. And again this team under MV fought back and never quit, having a real shot to pull out a win when our PB kicker shat the bed.

Vick is far from perfect, but there are a lOT of areas to look at as weaknesses on this team before you get to #7.
