  • Eagles Work Out 5 Players: QB and 4 WRs

    http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2...-a-quarterback

QB Sorensen, a seventh-round pick of the Chargers in 2013, played his college ball at Southern Utah. He spent the 2013 season with the Chargers, before being released in 2014. He then spent a few months with the Titans, before returning to San Diego, on and off, for the next year.

He signed with the Vikings on August 29, 2016, but was released when they traded for — you guessed it — Sam Bradford.

The Eagles also worked out four other players on Monday, as Caplan reported, all of whom were wide receivers.

Most notable among them was Aaron Dobson, a second-round pick of the Patriots in 2013. Dobson caught 37 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie, but struggled to stay relevant in the team’s offense and caught just 14 passes for 179 yards in the 2014 and 2015 seasons combined.

DeAndrew White went undrafted out of Alabama in 2015, spent last summer with the 49ers before being cut, and has yet to play a regular season snap.

Da'Ron Brown was a seventh round pick of the Chiefs, out of Northern Illinois, in 2015. He didn't make the 53-man roster, and has yet to play a regular season snap.

Jordan Leslie went undrafted out of BYU and UTEP in 2015, and has spent time with the Vikings, Jaguars, and Falcons. He has yet to play a regular season snap.

As good as Brady is he has struggled to click with most of the wrs he has played with. He mostly connects with TEs and slot guys. It might be that their passing offense is so tough with option routes that guys can't learn it because he simply doesn't trust them. It's been a bone of contention up here. Just because this guy didn't click with Brady doesn't mean he can't be decent. Of course he may just suck too LOL.

Kicking the tires isnt a bad thing. Don tthink any of those guys are worth it especially since you have Paul Turner who catches everything sitting on your practice squad

PT will become an instant fan favorite if he makes the roster. He's not quite Vince Papalli but he's as close as you can get these days. A gritty kid who does his job with balls. That's Philly.
