  • Corey Simon...

How about this...In the Daily news this morning there is an article saying that the reason Simon was put on the non football illness injury list had nothing to do with an illness. From a 'source' it was because he isn't interested in playing.

Apparently he is weighing in at over 350lbs.

Colts owner Jim Irsay and Simons agent have both disputed the report about Simon being diagnosed with an arthritic type of illness.

Sounds as if the contract he got from Indy made him really fat and lazy if this is the truth...

Actually, I am beginning to believe that that he was fat and lazy before that contract, but hey , that's just cynical ol me!

Do you realize he was 29 when he left here that fat? He should have been in the prime of his career.

Me thinks its medical or he just burned out.

Now, he probably weighs as much as the top 5 DT's put together.

here's a candidate for the most obvious newslead ever...

Colts ready to move on without Corey Simon

              By Tom James
              The Tribune-Star

              INDIANAPOLIS —
Despite the loss of mammoth defensive tackle Corey Simon for the remainder of the 2006 season, and perhaps beyond, the Indianapolis Colts say that they’re prepared to play on this year.

For a few days there, they were thinking about forfeiting!

Indeed! Makes one appreciate the ability of the Eagles' FO talent evaluation.
