Jeffery underwent an MRI this week and it was revealed he had broken ribs, Rapoport reported on Twitter. Jeffery was a limited participant in practice throughout the week leading up to the divisional-round matchup.
Along with the ailment, Jeffery is also dealing with the fallout of dropping a pass on the Eagles’ final drive of the game. A pass from quarterback Nick Foles went right through Jeffery’s hands and bounced into the palms of Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore. The interception sealed the game for the Saints.
Jeffery is one of the toughest players in the league. He played through most of last season and the playoffs with a torn rotator cuff. He produced five catches for 63 receiving yards with cracked ribs against the Saints.
Jeffery ended up leading the Eagles in receiving yards against New Orleans. The veteran receiver produced 65 catches for 843 receiving yards and six touchdowns during the regular season.

The Philadelphia Eagles lost right guard Brandon Brooks during the first half of the team's 20-14 divisional-round loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, January 13, 2019 (1/13/19) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.
The Eagles head into the offseason with some question marks at the wide receiver position. While Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are under contract, veterans Golden Tate and Jordan Matthews are set to hit free agency. The team has Mack Hollins and Shelton Gibson under contract but the pair combined for one catch all season, as Hollins spent the entire year on injured reserve."Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"
