Patriots | Team earns worst grade for offseason moves
    Sun, 11 Jun 2006 19:53:08 -0700

Sid Hartman, of the Star Tribune, reports the Sporting News gave the New England Patriots the worst grade of all 32 NFL teams for their offseason moves.

BTW-- They gave Seattle the #1 rating, fwiw.

Upon hearing that report, Peter King went nuts and threw his starbucks latte at a montclair field hockey player.

"BTW-- They gave Seattle the #1 rating, fwiw."

      * Losing a pro bowl anchor to your offensive line and then spending that money on an oft injured Linebacker is worth the #1 ranking?

      Wow.

Pats had one hell of a fine draft IMHO

I still put them amongst the favorites to win the AFC

I love how kffl uses the word "report". Is it really noteworthy for one news outlet to report the opinion of another news outlet?
Your confidence in your team is high, but rest assured, you will suffer humiliation when the sports team from my area defeats the sports team from your area.

Just like the Braves in baseball, I will never count this team out until the season ends because they always seem to find a way to win even under the worst of circumstances. The AFC east is still very weak, so they could walk into the playoffs like they did last year.
