Default OT: How do you get rid of rabbit holes.

Anyone got any tips on how to get rid of rabbit holes in your lawn. Someone told me if you take a piss on the hole it will scare them away. Any confirmation on this?

I'll bring my dog over. He's gotten rid of rabbit holes in under 1 minute and he's cheap.

Not so sure human piss would do much but it might- - they do sell (out west here anyway) a product that repels deer, rabbits, etc. I believe it is some type of coyote piss smelling stuff. It is downright powerful. I think it is called liquid fence or some such thing.

How about targetting the creator of the hole instead of the hole itself? I have two greyhounds, they'll be over later for lunch.

I had a problem last year and earlier this year with moles. Home Depot sells something called Rid-A-Mole that you attach to a garden hose and spray over the lawn. It worked great and so far the critters haven't come back (6 weeks and counting!). The product is a water soluble version of Castor oil. I'm not sure if this same product will get rid of rabbits but I know it also works for other animals too like gophers ...

You might look into something like this to get rid of the rabbits too.
