FWIW, I think I recall VFK recently posting something to the effect that he'd been very busy lately and was turned off by the inactivity due to the lockout etc.

Also regarding people not being serious, you should see an off topic board I post at where it's basically a competition to see who can say the most obscene/ridiculous comments.

For example, someone recently posted an article about a father beating a 2-year old daughter to death when he found her in the bathroom eating poop. Tragic story right? Well on this other board most of the responses were along the lines of "That will teach her not to eat poop."

Trolling is actually encouraged over there. It's basically how crazy a story can you make up and get a bunch of responses without people calling you out.
