As a side-note, we presently don't have a single 7th round pick, but I suppose that's irrelevant as we'll trade backwards enough times to stockpile 3 or 4 of them by the time the 7th round gets here.

The Kevin Kolb 2nd round pick will be moved to Dallas for a 3rd, 5th and 7th. They will pick a future starter at linebacker and we will grab good defensive line, offensive line and wide receiver depth.

There is no way that could happen. All the other stuff is believable.

Found this in my August 2012 archives:

Jayson LePetit (DT) continues to impress at Lehigh
                          by Dave Spadaro

Jayson LePetit from Div II Abilene Christian continues to impress in training camp. At 6'0" and 195 lbs, the former quarterback turned Defensive Tackle is just the type of player Andy Reid and defensive line coach Juan Castillo covet for their revamped defensive line.

"We felt that there wasn't enough 'motor' last year towards the end of the year as some of our players got worn down. This guy is all motor. No football skills per se but plenty of motor. That's the type of player that's gonna bring this defensive line to the top of the NFL," gushed Castillo.

When asked about being at the top of the depth chart at left defensive tackle, LaPetit said, "I couldn't believe it when the Eagles drafted me with their 7th 5th round pick. I can't even say this is a dream come true as I never dreamt I'd be in professional football. To be honest, I had an insurance selling job lined up back home."

"Why replacing Juan Castillo with Howie Roseman is a great move."

It wasn't fair to have Juan come in and start coaching under Sean McDermott's shadow and we somehow knew that would be a set up, trying to measure up to that standard.

Howie brings a fresh new start and has a lot of ideas and energy. He's got a fantastic work ethic, and he's always the first one in the building in the morning and the last one out at night. He's broken down a lot of film this off season on NFL offenses and really has a great feel for it. He's said that although he's always been involved on the contract and personnel side of things, what he has always loved was defense. He should work well with new LB coach Christina Lurie. Meanwhile, congratulations to Juan, who is happy with his promotion to assistant assistant head coach and team physician.

Howie is also enthusiastic about replacing place kicker Alex Henery. Howie will wear the number 1 and can't wait for the games to begin in September. He's broken down a lot of film on PATs and onsides kicks and has a great feel for the kicking game, and is really really excited to be the Eagles kicker.
