Free-agent DT Cullen Jenkins visiting Giants

A league source has told Derrick Gunn of CSN Philadelphia that Cullen Jenkins has a meeting with the New York Giants.

The Eagles released the nine-year veteran defensive tackle on Monday along with Mike Patterson, both of whom are better suited to play in the 4-3 scheme instead of the 3-4, which the Eagles are expected to adopt.

    The Giants play a 4-3.

Jenkins signed a five-year deal with the Eagles in 2011 following the lockout but had his contract restructured before last season. He was scheduled to earn $5.5 million this season and will receive $1.5 million unless he signs for more elsewhere (in which case he won't count against the Eagles' cap).

Why would this want you you puke. Jenkins was not a fit here & he gets a chance to move on. I wish the guy the best of luck.
Just give me ONE before I go!

I just hate the SOBs, and the fact that they might get one of our guys make me want to puke. Of course if he sucks, then it's !

Jenkins is a great fit for the Gaints. I hope he signs on there. He will be used properly and play pretty well for them.

That's my point. Why the hell do you want him playing well for the Giants?

yea, I'm with you 60. I personally want to see the giants pickup nothing but crap. Jenkins isn't crap quite yet.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
            Hope is not a strategy

Puke is when Bavaro or Monk ended their careers as an Eagle. Or Harold playing for the Cowboys

Not a 2 year average impact FA that got released cuz he doesn't fit our system anymore

              They can have him

Packers fans may want to puke though. They lost a lot when they lost him

Jenkins is a shell of what he once was. I have zero issue with him signing with the gnats.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

I'm with you both also. He might not fit our system but he isn't pita bread either. I never want guys back in our division, especially ones that still have some play left in them.

Latest word out there is Jenkins has a good shot at landing in Oakland. The GM there, Reggie MacKenzie, knows Jenkins well from his days in Green Bay. Hey, if Jenkins ends up in Oakland I say good luck.

Too bad Big Al still isn't alive. He'd give him $100 million.
