6 touches a game plus ST is good enough for me.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Two NFL backs have caught 150 passes & averaged at least 4.8 yards per carry since 2011: Darren Sproles and LeSean McCoy.

When he carries the ball he's putting up very nice numbers but his forte is rec. There aren't many better at it and that's what's he's coming to the Eagles to do. His stats speak for themselves as well as his game tape. Not giving him an extension because he needs to "prove something" in training camp makes no sense. But whatever.
Stand for the flag you assholes!

But, look at it this way. Sproles was completely disgruntled, he wanted them to cut him instead of trading him to God knows where. He was not in a highly desirable situation. Now all of a sudden, he gets to come play for Chip Kelly in Philly on a contending team. It's a great situation for him, and he gets a nice deal.

My guess is he feels like he's got something to prove too.

We'll see what happens. I'm curious to see how FAs that they bring in are effected by the sports science program.
Yeah, this is a "prove it" season of a couple of guys, already. I'm also thinking about Maclin. WE ALREADY HAVE HIS ADDED ABILITY TO PUT IN THIS OFFENSE(IF IT ACTUALLY NEEDED A BOOST)

We gave guaranteed $ to James Casey last year, ,,,,,people yapping about how he would be utilized, his vesatility, yada, yada....how well did THAT work out for us?

We have plenty of receiving options. As runners go, I wanted to see more of Polk and Brown.(I guess we will kick one of them to the curb now, wonderful)

Dont se any great need nor benefit here. Sorry. And definitely dont see the reason for extending his deal to "make him happy". WTF do I care about making this guy happy? As I said, he has done nothing for me.

I see the "shiny object!" syndrome in effect again......(I'd rather we gave the spot to Avant, but he's boring, LOL!)

        Point made, ending rant.

I'll admit it was a strange move and I didn't see it coming, but adding a talent like Sproles is never a bad thing Fresh. As for Casey, his blocking really made the offense move down the stretch. He was basically a fb pulling and leading plays. That was really an interesting way to attack as it's tough for a MLB to read that action. If Chip wanted Sproles I'd be a lot happier than if Howe pushed for it, but I guess we'll never know that.

Do you think he will be happy with six touches plus returns in a game?
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
            Hope is not a strategy

Hey, I don't either unless he becomes some kind of problem.
