In the category of "not news", Birds did not go after Hill, who was the Jets 2nd round pick 2 years ago. At the cost (benefit?) of waiving Maehl, I would have given Hill a shot. Fast and big. Foles had great chemistry with Cooper, who is only big. Hill's production wasn't anything, but neither was Cooper's prior to last year.
