Really poor judgement by the NFL and Ravens...the authorities could not act since his fiance refused to participate in a legal process against Rice, but I do not buy at ALL that the NFL and the Ravens did not see/know about this video inside the elevator.

Now they look stupid both ways, if they DID know then they should be held accountable for either a cover up or stunningly idiotic judgement re. punishment. If they did NOT know, then they are just incompetent and should be fired.

At least 2 guys I heard today on sports radio shows, who were characterized as 'legally astute', claimed that with visual evidence provided by the video, NJ authorities had not only the legal authority but the responsibility as well to prosecute Rice even if the fiancee/wife did not cooperate.

Everyone who participated in the kid gloves treatment of this coward ends up smelling like dog shit.
