  • Breakout WR on the Roster

I have been reading about the leadership the Bird WRs are getting from Miles Austin. He runs great routes and works at his craft. I am picking him as the guy most likely to shock the shit out of us this season. To top it all off, Dallas is paying him 5 million this year to play for the Birds. This makes it even better. May he stuff it down their throats twice this season. By the way.........................
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

He's been a very productive player. Problem is he can't stay healthy. Hopefully, you are correct. We will see if he benefits from the sports science program.

His $3 million is guaranteed and so is Cooper's. One of them has to go I imagine.

I really don't think there will be enough balls to go around for Austin to have that much impact.

Matthews and Agholor are going to be the top 2. And, I really think that Chip likes Huff a lot in certain situations. Then, you have Ertz, Celek and even Sproles getting in the passing game.

I really think that Austin and Cooper are going to be battling for time in the red-zone only. Cooper is a little taller.

I am glad that Austin is showing leadership, because that may be the only think keeping him on the roster. When we drafted Agholor it really put a dent in Austin's potential playing time.

Mathews and Agholor are probably the only two "untouchables. After that I suppose anything could happen. I doubt if anybody on the team would shed a tear if Cooper got cut. Huff could be anything from starting slot to cut. It will make the preseason fun anyway.
