Mathews Done for Season
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.Tags: None

I don't think anybody wished he were gone, we just questioned his being the feature back because of his history with injury and ball security at his salary."Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

don't really want him gone, he's a good back, I would like to see him at a reduced price. He may never play again though so his salary may not be an issue. I wouldn't wish a broken back or neck on anyone not on the Cowboys, Redskins or GiantsWe're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. The higher up the easier they are to fix. I think that he'll have a full recovery but he would be crazy to play football again. Then again it's tough for young guys to stop playing again when they're feeling good."Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"
