Another Shane Evans gem. I can't wait for his training camp blog:

"Bloom looked like a difference maker today. That is important because the Eagles haven't had a difference maker in the return game in quite some time, and it's really super to have a difference maker."

"Coming off the mini camp field you could sense the bond between free agent acquisition Nail Diggs and Chris Goccong. They are not letting the competition for the SAM position prevent them from being good friends"

Not blowing smoke MD - It's just the way things go - they'll hype Bloom/Bunkley/Avant/Baskett till we're blue in the face and explain away how they let Stallworth walk because they had young guys ready...and then next year we'll be faced with no long ball threat at all...and with our history Bloom will get shot in a drive by shooting and Bunkley will balloon up to 400 lbs and never be on the field! LMAO...

I liked the Bloom article and have been encouraged by his dedication during the course of this year. I don't worry about this as blowing smoke. He has just as good of a chance as anyone that we would draft in the 4th, 5th rounds or later in this draft to serve in the return man roll.

On another note - I do shudder when I read the following:
"As difficult as the physical transition was, the mental aspect of the game was definitely more resonant." Is this guy writing a friggin' English thesis or a football story?!

Guess it's that it is just what I expect from a PR dept, just what they get paid to do.

But, IMO, it really doesn't have anything to with Donte or anybody else, they do the same thing every year, cause that is what they get paid to do, and my guess is that it happens on every team during the off season.

But if Bloom does get shot, well then we need to launch and investigation..... and as far as Bunkley goes, hell, seems that if he gets up to 400 pounds he fills the role of the "Run Stuffing DT" that many seem to want us to go out and get..... so that would be a good thing........
