Just wanted to see where we rank. The key ranking IMO is 9-1 and the defense is getting better

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

It's hard to believe that both Joseph and Suh were available this late ih the season and sighed for only the league minimum. What a boost for the division and playoffs run they're going to be! December is going to be a brutal run with 2 games with the unexpectedly good Giants and 1 with Dallas at their place. It's going to be hard for us to win the division let alone lock up the #1 spot. It's going to take a lot out of the team. It's going to be a wild ride and a lot of fun for us. Not so much for our Birds though. I hope they can continue that energy through the tournament.

Dallas Minnesota and New York are all finding ways to win. The birds are still in the drivers seat though so they control the NFC. Of course they have to keep winning to do that. Don’t want to have to travel to one of their stadiums in Jan.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
      Hope is not a strategy

I don't think we would have gotten to the SB if we didn't have home field advantage. We only beat Atlanta because Julio Jones slipped in the end zone. That's how close that game was against Atlanta in a defensive battle that we squeaked out of 15-10. Nick really didn't catch fire until the second half of the Minnesota game and we could have lost that game if Barnett didn't have that huge strip sack in our own red zone keeping the score from being the Vikings going ahead 21-7. Home field advantage is huge through the playoffs and it's imperative that we got it.
