Xavier Legette is an intriguing prospect I think no doubt. He had a ton of injury issues at South Carolina and uneven QB play. He is 6-1, 220 and ran a 4.39 at the combine. You can't teach that size/speed combo. He wasn't used much in college until his final year. So he doesn't have a lot of polish. I think he is also going to flag potentially as a medical concern because he just never could get completely healthy and some of that is being that big... it's a bit like Deebo. If he slides, I'd have zero issue with taking him but he is not worth a top 75 pick in my mind.

Thanks, aw. His size/speed profile looks like Deebo or AJ Brown to me too. I'm not sure how good he actually is though.

One more thing to point out... the Eagles met with Spencer Rattler at some point. There is always the possibility they are looking at Legette. Just because you meet with a player doesn't mean you are interested in him. Rattler might be getting pulled into a meeting so they can discreetly find more out about a player on that team?

If you look at these highlights, you see a big, quick athlete that does look a lot like A.J. Brown no doubt. But I see a lot of free release where he just runs into space.

Go back and look at the second TD on his highlight reel and to me what you see is Legette not really selling an inside move. He just ducks inside a bit and then goes outside towards the sideline. Is that a great route or just poor coverage or the kind of coverage you get in college? Clearly, the kid is an elite athlete but can he sinks his hips and run the entire route tree?

And can he stay healthy. But if they could get the kid in the 4th round I'd go for it. Tons of potential.
