Yup that sharfing kid is awful and Bradberry is a goner. Guy just can’t play anymore.

Dean played really well. Nolan Smith had a sack but I just dont see a real DE skill set.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Dean has been a real disappointment so far.

Maybe up until tonight 60 but tonight he was running all over the place. He blitzed and on the same play ran back and tackled the ball carrier. That was his best game as an Eagle in my opinion.

Trotter Jr and Van Sumeran also moved around well. White hardly played which is good. Don't get him hurt.

        The Patriots are TERRIBLE.

Interesting that you guys are saying McKee is the backup. Eagles insider (FWIW) just published saying the eagles love Kenny Pickett.

I don’t have NFLN. How did the RBs look?

You are 100% correct AW! I have absolutely no idea why I posted that.. I must have thought I was answering another post because he was all over the place tonight. Baun was very good tonight too. In fact, I would say that all the linebackers played very good tonight, at least as far as the running game was concerned. It's really tough to tell how linebackers do in passs defense though because you never get a good angle on things from the TV screen and we don't necessarily know their defensive responsibilities either. I'll say this for the Patriots, their running backs really run hard. On a lot of plays we looked like we had them stopped but somehow they managed to gain a lot of yards after contact.

This is the second year in a row that Nagata has had an excellent preseason and I would Think that he should make the final roster. The guy really has good hands and made a couple of really nice contested catches tonight. There has to be more to the story about him because the coaches see him every day. maybe he doesn't run roots well or is simply a slow blinker because I don't see how he should be left off the roster.

McKee had another excellent performance and I thought that Picket threw the ball well when he had a chance to get a pass off because the offensive line was terrible when he was in the game. I sure hope that Steen is okay.

No biggie 60. I thought maybe you were not watching the game. Dean had not looked great up until last night.

john Ross, Bradberry, and Sharfing all need to be cut. The first 2 out of respect for their vet status to see if they can find another team. Sharfing just stinks.

ngsta should be in this team. The question is can he play special teams.

AJ, Devonte, Wilson, Ngata and Covey. In my opinion. There’s no camp stud this year.

Goedert and Calcateera didn’t play which suggests they have the team made. Uzomah looked bad. EJ Jenkins should be the third TE.

You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

My surprise cut is Tyler Steen with an injury settlement. Keegan looks like a player to me and Toth’s versatility makes him valuable.

Tyrion-price is gonna be a tough RB cut. After Barkley, Shipley, and Gainwell I’m not sure it matters really.

my prediction is this team is going to keep a lot of DB. They need ST players so I think Jobe makes it. Maddox looks pretty good and is versatile. Rogers, Mitchell, Ringo, Slay and dejean are going to make it. Does Ricks? Zach McPherson is still on the roster. They are going to keep 10-11 DBs I bet.

Steen won't be going anywhere. I think there is a rule change this year that you can take two players and put them on returnable IR before roster cut-downs, so they could make sure he's healed before he tries to play again. Steen was a tackle in college and looked better as a backup T last year than RG, and I'm sure he's improved at the latter. He just got injured, and seems like an injured Steen is definitely not as good as Becton.

I think they keep three RBs, given the roster crunch at other positions (in particular DB as you mention) but put at least two more on the practice squad. It will rather annoy me if they keep four TEs.

Why would they keep 4 TEs? The three backups aren't going anywhere if they get cut.

Picket had no shot to do anything as I remember things. The Oline was pretty bad while he was in the game. I think NE had their starter in on defense.

please cut Max Sharping immediately. Thought Pickett was going to get killed. Him and that Giants Olineman at tackle and guard is an embarrassment. They got blown up so fast every snap.

Bradberry on the Maye TD run was almost as bad. wtf was he doing
Pickett had ZERO, 00000 blocking and still hung in and took a beating. Not ready to throw him away.

the number one thing I noticed is the assistant coaches are coaching their asses off. This is a young team and kids are very unfinished coming out of college anymore. I think a lack of coaching talent lead to our poor ending last season. Other than seeing the speed, quickness and strength of our players, there was nothing to really watch. We have some good RBs behind Barkley, Gainwell and Shipley. Will be some good players getting cut. Goedert, Calcaterra and Jenkins would be my TEs, with Uzomah on the bubble. They said he was awesome at practice yesterday. White, Baun and Dean are in the lead at LB, but Trot looks good and Vansumeran looks bigger and stronger, plays very good STs and no surprise those are the top LBs. I'm anxious to see what kind of blocking the Birds can do with 700 lbs on each side of Center. Steen, Keegan, Johnson and McMahon make a good group of backups. Hennesy hasn't shown shit. Can't wait for these garbage games to be over.
