    OT:Enough wih the damn tornedoes

    I've lived through worse in the sixties and here NW of Orlando, I've lived through several fierce hurricanes. But this is getting on my/our nerves. We were lucky in February when a tornado swerved around our house and took out our best friends and 500 other homes here in The Villages. Now last night we spent hours as two more tornadoes jumped over us and/or swung off nearby to rack up another 100 homes. Huddling under mattrasses, in bathtubs late at night with the rain and lightning pounding is not high on my list of romantic evenings. I need clear skies and good news!

    Well the Phils won that's a bright note,

    Daaamn, that's all I can say about the tornadoes and hurricanes. I saw an episode of Storm Stories where some guy said, "We spent most of our life savings to move to Florida..." and of course they were living in a trailer sitting on a flood plain when the hurricane hit. I've got a sister living in Louisiana, so far so good for them!

          Move north. Tornados are very rare up here, and it's apple season now!
