Brown's hamstring still not 100%?
"Philly fans are great....It's the only place where you pull up on the bus and you've got the grandfather, the grandmother, the kids and the grandkids - everybody flicking you off. At other stadiums, they give you the thumbs-down. Here, they give you the middle finger.”
— Michael Strahan

Re: Brown's hamstring still not 100%?
it was a pretty serious hammy pull -- Brown reported hearing a pop, I believe. I doubt he'll be 100 percent for a while and if he plays in the next couple of weeks, there's a very good chance he will reinjure, IMO.Don't kid yourself Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd kill you and everyone you cared about!

I'll be in the minority who says you never want both your starting WR's unavailable - but I think these developments have a Wally Pipp feel to them. DeSean Jackson's rise to stardom begins Sunday.Carson Wentz ERA

Re: Brown's hamstring still not 100%?
I fear this injury will linger all year, with a tweak here and there causing him to miss games throughout the season. BP; my fear with D Jackson is that he's never played more than 12 games in a season, I do think he is special. Being the starting WR and PR, may be a little too much for his size. Remember, Charlie Garner as the last rookie phenom., he ran for 200+ yds and than missed several games. These young guys need a full NFL off-season program to start to get thier bodies ready for the NFL pounding.

Hamstrings are like the dreaded high ankle sprain.. they seem to last forever. They need rest, and rest is not what an athlete does. Hopefully he will take about the first 5 to 6 weeks off to make it 100%. You can't rush a hammy back.

No but you can get a Moons over My Hammy at Denny's for $6.99.
I am very concerned about our WRs. I know DJ played well in the preseason but that means we have.... 1 threat. And he's a rookie.

Re: Brown's hamstring still not 100%?
Anyone who's pulled a hamstring badly knows that you need to do NOTHING for a month or more, or you seriously risk pulling it all over again. Hamstrings are tricky and frustrating. You SEEM to heal quickly, and your leg tells you it feels pretty good - It doesn't take long before you don't even feel anything at all - WHILE WALKING. But the minute you stress it by starting to run - YEOW! I've been there twice in my life. The first time I pushed it too soon and pulled it again. The next time I did it, I learned my lesson and stopped playing softball for 6 weeks. Granted, I'm not a multi-million dollar NFL palyer with a pro work-out regime and personal trainers, but still.

Reggie Brown is creeping into Ryan Moats territory to me. He's done jack on this team and it's getting old. I don't care if he can stop an injury or not. It's annoying.
DeSean. Answer the bell.Carson Wentz ERA
