I don't think you can disagree with anything Joey T had to say. In fact, I think MORE people, and the RIGHT people should be saying it.

Understand that Joe probably has a bit of a tender spot when it comes to drug use.....due to his son.

Yeah Fresh, but why does he have to come out and call Ricky a disgrace? Say he needs help, whatever. But who the hell asked him anyway. (answer is ESPN)

I can't wait till he starts rooting for the Redskins on MNF this year. Do they have a game? Is it against the Eagles? It seemed like every year, they'd set the Eagles vs Skins on Sunday Night and it used to drive me batty.

It's not like the guy is doing hard drugs. Marijuana is a less damaging drug than alcohol and I would be willing to bet Joey T likes to toss back the sauce once and a while.

Joe T: "I don't ever want to be mentioned in the same breath as Ricky Williams as a football player."

I suspect Joe may be troubled to learn of this, but according to the AP, a large group of Sunni Arabs were seen taking DEEP BREATHS and chanting, "Joe Theismann and Ricky Williams as a football player". These people a merciless!!

Not the point LD. The substances Ricky was abusing were illegal. THe guy walked out on his team so that he could continue to get stoned. He's warned reppeatedly about his drug use and he is a habitual offender, and goes so far as to brag about it, and brag about how many times he's beaten the drug tests on national TV. He gets one more chance that he never should have gotten, and tests positive for an ilegal substance AGAIN.

Now, whether you think stars in the NFL should be role models or not, this guy is a flaming idiot and a disgrace to the entire leage and especially to sports professionals in this league.
