Pedro's pitched in the minors for three weeks now so let's see what he bring to the table.I have no idea what Jamie brings to the bullpen so we'll just have to wait & see but IMO he needed to be bumped from the starting rotation even as a #5.
BTW the Cubs game on Wednesday at 8,with Pedro starting is on ESPN.

Thanks for the updates. I agree he shouldn't be in the rotation, but at this point we gotta figure out which Pedro we are getting.

I have no idea how effective Moyer will be from the BP - My guess is not well and I am curious to see how he will be used. Can you say Dan Pleasac?

I just saw a Moyer clip on CSN - I love the attitude he has, with his age comes great wisdom.

I also don't think Moyer will bring much from the pen but it gives the Phils a chance to see if Pedro has enough left to give them two months. Moyer is there as insurance if he doesn't and maybe, just maybe, missing a couple of starts will help turn him around if he is needed.
