Tracy Clemons KSLA-TV in Shreveport Louisiana reports Shreveport police arrested Philadelphia Eagles star tackle Jason Peters. He's from Queen City, Texas and played college football at the University of Arkansas.

He was charged with loud music and disturbing the peace.

what a horrible person[-X. Not exactly Lawrence Taylorish,I believe I'll give him a pass on this one.

um yeah. Loud music? it was dumb of him not to respond to complaints and to be respectful but not really a big deal. Stupid? Yes. Character flaw? No.

It looks like these jerks should sign to keep them out of trouble

It looks like these jerks should sign to keep them out of trouble

And maybe he could pick his friends better. This whole friekin league could be in jail for the season if this keeps up.

Chuck Bednarik Packers 31, Steelers 25 Super Bowl XLV halftime show Pro Bowl Eagles offensive lineman Jason Peters, 29, was arrested early Saturday for allegedly blaring music and resisting arrest in Shreveport, La., Sgt. Bill Goodin of the Shreveport police department said.

Police said they heard the music coming from Peters' vehicle in the downtown area, and when they approached the Eagles lineman, he refused to provide identification, leading to the resisting arrest charge, Goodin said. Peters was released on bond Saturday, police said. The amount was not disclosed.

According to the website TMZ, Peters was in town as a celebrity guest of rapper Rick Ross, who was arrested Saturday in a separate incident in Shreveport.
Earlier this month, the Eagles' King Dunlap was arrested in Nashville and charged with reckless driving.

It's gopnna get worse if these players don't have the game to keep them focused. Gonna be a trainwreck.

Eagles Jason Peters Arrested In Louisiana

Eagles pro bowl left tackle Jason Peters was arrested last night in Shreveport, LA for a loud music violation according to TMZ. The site reports that police asked Peters to turn down the music in his car several times and he refused. He reportedly also refused to show the police his ID.

Peters was in town to catch a performance by rapper Rick Ross, who ironically was also arrested in later in a separate incident for marijuana possession.

This is rather reminiscent of Dez Bryant situation from last week. Having your music too loud or your pants too low is probably a somewhat silly thing for the authorities to hassle a guy about, but for the players to allow things to escalate to the point of getting arrested or causing a big newsworthy incident is incredibly stupid. There's just some battles that aren't worth fighting. Cops telling you to turn the music down is one. Just turn it down, or go somewhere else, or make any one of many possible decisions other than the one that landed you in a jail for a couple hours.

"Having your music too loud or your pants too low is probably a somewhat silly thing for the authorities to hassle a guy about"

Unless of course these things are in violation of the law. It almost sounds like who ever penned this article doesn't seem to hold the law in very high regard, the hassling comment gives that away. From the sound of things if Peters wouldn't have been such a dick head and just given the police his ID, like you're required to when the police request it, we most likely wouldn't have ever been reading this story.

I believe the intelligence level of a lot of these players has to come into play here. If you have half a brain in your head you don't do this dumb shit. These guys are constantly in trouble with the law.

For the Eagles sake,I hope he quits playing his tunes at such a high level. This may result in far less false starts if he saves his hearing.
