All politics aside, the lack of serious preparation and and the GROSSLY inadequate numbers of security personnel from various sources/branches is both indefensible and totally inconsistent with preparations for previous large protest groups, as was anticipated by anyone with a pulse and IQ above room temperature. The DC Chief of Police and the Acting Secretary of Homeland Security have some 'splainin'. The head of the Capitol Police and the Sergeants at Arms of both the House and Senate have announced their respective resignations.
