  • Hank to Colts?

I hope Hank does well there. I always liked him.

I am still bitter that Reggie has a roster spot and Hank does not. At least Hank has impressed me with his willingness to make the key block over the last few years.

    Is Reggie a burner....No.
Does Reggie help on special teams.....No
    Is Reggie a good blocker.......No
    Does Reggie run exceptional routes....No
    Does Reggie have great hands......No
    Does Reggie do anything exceptional....No.

    Does Reggie do anything badly.......No

That's the problem with Reggie. He is an all-around, OK receiver that is being paid starter's money. Because he doesn't excel at anything, it is hard to find a spot for him on the field when you currently have exceptional role players. All of our receivers, except Reggie, have a particular skill that makes them valuable in at least one type of situation. Hank was probably the best blocker of the bunch.

I am sure that Andy knows what is best for the team. But, I don't really get keeping Hank over Reggie, unless this has to do with salary cap ramifications.

No but a lot of good WRs aren't burners

        Agreed

Actually he is a very good blocker. Maybe not on Hank's level, but very good nonetheless.

        Not exception but fairly good.

It is salary cap, and Reggie's salary is also guaranteed. Neither guy has been stellar, so I think that makes it an easy choice on who to cut; especially when Brown still has potential to turn his career around.

Another thing to look at is the Eagles were supposedly disappointed with Hank's ability to run the fade route. They are hoping Brandon Gibson can fill that tall WR role.
Whatcha Gonna Do Brother, When the Eagles run wild on you?

Glad to see Hank caught on somewhere. He is what he is a backup reciever, so is Brown. Right now I have Jackson, Curtis, Avant and Maclin as must haves on the field. Maclin because you invested a 1st round pick on him. Gibson is the 5th guy as a developmental guy and Brown is just here at this point. I would think that if Curtis or Jackson got hurt though Brown would actually start to leaving Avant and Maclin in their current roles.
