Loved the Will Allen snafu, LOL!

Hey son, just because you are similar in size doesn't mean you will measure up. You better get ready to bust your ass. Dawk was unique, one in a million.

I was listening to Reese/Sapds a little bit yesterday, and they mentioned that Allen was Ukee Washington's Godson. They were actually pretty funny. Couldn't find anything on Keenana Clayton b/c he was listed in "others" in Our Lads. They googled him, and the first thing that came up was about an arrest, I think ... nothing there ... it was some kind of a minor ticket.

In his short stint here, JR Reed was one of my favorite players. He was really coming into his own before the injury. Then, it was pretty amazing to see him even make it back to the NFL, when most medical experts said his career was over.

JR Reed gets Philly. If he thinks Allen is going to be a great fit here, then I feel pretty good about his opinion. I just wish that JR himself was still on the team

I think Fresh was a big J R Reed fan also. I may be wrong.

He didn't claim to measure up.

But no pressure kid you only have to be "one in a million" to be a success.

He made the comment, not me. I'm about the same weight as Bute, but that doesn't mean I can fight like him.

I like the Allen pick. i think he will be a solid safety. But his game is nothing like Dawk's.

"Oh yeah, he's Brian Dawkins," Allen said. "You don't need to say much. They said something about it, and it's an honor to be mentioned in the same sentence as him, too."
