Looks like that arrogant, lying, bully fuck may have pushed the envelope a little to far in making bald face lies to the feds/congress in their investigation of steroid use in MLB. Multiple sources are reporting that the Justice Department has indicted the prick on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
Must admit, I have never liked Clemens since he came up with the Sox. A bully and coward (IMO) with pin point control who was perfectly content with hitting/knocking batters down with a 100 mph fastball, knowing he'd never come to bat and face retaliation.
The topper for me was the attorney orchestrated interview he did on 60 minutes with Mike Wallace in which he chastised the media and public for not taking his denials as gospel truth.
From the interview:
"I'm angry that what I've done for the game of baseball and the personal, in my private life, what I've done, that I don't get the benefit of the doubt," Clemens says. "The stuff that's being said, it's ridiculous."
"Twenty-four, twenty-five years Mike. You'd think I'd get an inch of respect. An inch," he adds.
