My fantasy football team seems to get terrible news updates every frigging day!! I drafted Vincent Jackson very late in the draft under the misguided impression that with the lockout looming, he wouldn't sit out the entire season and go two full years without a paycheck. The latest bad news to hit the doorstep (pardon the Don McLean reference) is that the Vikings signed Baskett effectively killing any interest they had in trading for Jackson.
Prior news included losing my second round pick of Ryan Grant after a whole half of the first game. Then having another owner (who clearly is on drugs!) bid 79 of his 100 points on Grants replacement, Brandon Jackson. Meanwhile Beanie Wells is still out and not likely to see action any time soon, while Marion Barber has had his role reduced. The list goes on and on and frankly I want to punch a wall right now!
