  • Official 2011 Season Predictions

Time to pony up and put your 2011 season predictions down in writing for all to see (and laugh at) and for us to naturally record so we can join in on the laughter at the end of the campaign....

Vin "requested" someone post this (as if he has too much to do himself) and so I stepped up in the clutch like I always do and got the job done.

Anywho (Dawk20 TM), post your predictions for the Eagles final regular season record ONLY. We will have a separate playoff prediction thread once we finish 16-0, clinch the NFC East in week 10 and are sitting pretty with HFA.

My prediction is 11-5 with another NFC East division crown in the bag

I thought that we already did this VF? Anyway, I'm going with our usual 10-6 after we get off to a slow start. I predict that we get hot in the play offs and win the whole friekin thing. What the hell, I'm never right and am about as due as the Eagles Are!!

Pretty bad when I see us losing to each of the divisional opponents, but that's what my synthetic crystal ball is showing. 10-6

        Hmmm....

        Bye week in week 7....

        5-1 going into the bye...

I'd guess at 11-5, Div Champs.

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Two losses to the Giants kills me but I think they'll run the ball down our throat and their d-line is going to eat up this O-line. I will be happy to be wrong. Still division winners with the Gnats at 10-6.

I have them at 12-4, only because I think the schedule ends up being weaker than expected.

@ Rams – L (rams rushing and short passing game keeps Eagles offense on sideline)
@ Atlanta – W (Pissed off Eagles rebound)
NYG – W (Giants injuries too much for them)
                SF – W
                @ Buff - W
                @ Was - W
Dallas – L (Dallas win in philly has them thinking they can take the division)
                Chicago - W
Arizona - W (KK/Fitz put up a fight, but go down eventually)
                @ NYG – W (Giant’s season imploding)
                NE - L
                @ Seattle - W
                @ Miami - W
                NYJ - L
                @ Dallas – W (for the division)
Wash – W (Eagles going for chance at 1st round bye)

                12-4
                Other notes:
-Vick puts up big numbers, but his interceptions triple this season
-Defense does not live up to expectations due to weak run support and finishes in the middle of the pack statistically.
-Huge numbers for offense. But, Vick turnovers keeps them from being dominant.

14-2 in preparation for sweeping the post season enroute to the parade.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
                      Hope is not a strategy

11-5 seems about right to me. Peaking at the end. Counting the playoffs, make it 14-5.

11-5 and on their way to another NFCCG. They will make it at least that far.

There are going to be some ugly losses, hopefully early. Wouldn't be surprised at anything from 10-6 to 13-3, but I'll go 11-5 and winning the division.

Agreed. I see us losing to the Pack in the nfccg
