That was intentional grounding. Lucky the ref is blind in our favor for once.

If there was a receiver in the vicinity, it may not have been ruled that way, and it's probably hard for him to determine if he's outside the tackle box anyways. The alternatives would have been getting tackled (safety or ball on the same spot anyways, the penalty doesn't hurt further), or the Redskins potentially getting the ball for a TD. Worth the risk of avoiding the intentional grounding call.
