  • Not so Shady

A couple of nice articles on Shady's softball event. Give em a read. Makes me proud to be a Shady-lover. And an Igglephan.

    Good story.

    Good guy!

    Side note:
I found it interesting that Rosenhaus participated. It's a little disconcerting
when public figures I really dislike engage in low profile, charitable events.

"Damn you Rosenhaus for acting like a decent human being!"

Yeah, that was cool of Drew....even if his motivation might have been personal PR. I also love that Westy was part of it. And lets not leave out Desean who gets a bad rap as being selfish.

This is pretty cool of all that participated. I mentioned before that I went to an Eagle basketball game and would recommend it to anyone, the guys clown around and truly leave their guard down for a few hours and you get to be a few feet away.If you don't mind a half hour wait afterwards they sign autographs and allow picture taking.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Damn, DRC hit a 340-foot home run with a softball! That is crunching it!
